NOVELTY - Formulation of graphene modified water-based polyurethane comprises coating liquid containing 51-88.999 wt.% aqueous polyurethane emulsion, 5-15 wt.% filler, 3-10 wt.% ammonium stearate emulsion, 0.5-3 wt.% foaming agent, 0.001-1 wt.% graphene, 0.5-10 wt.% aqueous color paste, 0.5-2 wt.% aqueous ammonia, 0.5-5 wt.% leveling agent and 1-3 wt.% thickening agent. USE - Formulation of graphene modified water-based polyurethane is used for producing synthetic leather. ADVANTAGE - The graphene modified water-based polyurethane produces synthetic leather with excellent anti-static and fire retardant property. The method improves wear resistance and eliminates the need for dry film processing. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of graphene modified water-based polyurethane synthetic leather, which involves (a) preparing coating liquid by adding aqueous polyurethane emulsion, filler, ammonium stearate emulsion, foaming agent, graphene, aqueous color paste, aqueous ammonia and leveling agent into the container according to respective composition, stirring to obtain uniformly dispersed mixtures, filtering the dispersed mixture and adding thickening agent to adjust the viscosity, (b) passing the prepared coating liquid through intelligent dynamic foam generator to obtain coating foam, applying coating foam to leather base fabric by knife or roller coating and coating thickness is based on the requirements of different leather products which can be adjusted by computer control, (c) drying the coated material in oven to obtain graphene modified water-based polyurethane foaming material and (d) post-treating the obtained by embossing, printing and printing or tanning.
