NOVELTY - Anode slurry comprises anode material, conductive agent, binder, transition metal complexing agent and solvent, where transition metal complexing agent is complexing agent containing hydrophobic group and hydrophilic group. USE - The anode slurry is useful for anode pole piece and lithium ion battery (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The anode slurry: inhibits the damage and repair to the solid-electrolyte interphase of the cathode; reduces the consumption of active lithium-ion; and improves the cycle performance.
