NOVELTY - A graphene-based infrared plasmon waveguide modulator, relates to plasmon waveguide modulator. the 7-layer structure which are on substrate from top to bottom, an upper medium layer, bias layer, medium layer, graphene conduction band, the lower dielectric layer and a lower base; the centre of the upper substrate and the lower substrate has a symmetrical gradually deforming heave structure. are respectively extended to the middle upper medium layer and medium layer, which can achieve enhanced waveguide mode performance, the edge of the upper substrate and the lower substrate has a parabolic, hyperbolic, elliptical, sine, cosine or other can realize the substrate edge gradient modulation curve, and the gradual change width extending out the upper substrate and the lower substrate, changing the width of the part is as wide as can modulate in different degrees, the plane of the biasing layer and the graphene conduction band upper dielectric layer, a middle dielectric layer and a lower dielectric layer, the purpose is to make the plane of the biasing layer and graphene conduction band to form the corresponding electric field.
