▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - A gold-loaded graphene oxide-lactate dehydrogenase (GO-LDH) nanohybrid comprises zinc-chromite lactate dehydrogenase, graphene oxide and gold nanoparticles. USE - Gold-loaded graphene oxide-lactate dehydrogenase nanohybrid is used as photocatalyst (claimed) and prepared easily in ambient condition. ADVANTAGE - The gold-loaded graphene oxide-lactate dehydrogenase nanohybrid is active in visible band spectrum and shows excellent photocatalytic activity for water splitting and/or organic pollutant degradation. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) preparation of gold-loaded GO-LDH nanohybrid, which involves (a) preparing zinc-chromite lactate dehydrogenase by coprecipitating zinc nitrate and chromium nitrate in a molar ratio of 2:1 to form solution, titrating the solution with sodium hydroxide and sodium carbonate with vigorous stirring under room condition in an inert atmosphere, adjusting the pH at 8.0 to obtain suspension, stirring the suspension for 24 hours, filtering through 0.2 mu m membrane, washing with de-ionized water to remove excess salt content and finally drying by keeping in an air oven at 80 degrees C, (b) synthesizing graphene oxide by hummers method and preparing graphene oxide-lactate dehydrogenase composite with 1-5 wt.% graphene oxide by simple ultra sonication process and (c) loading composite with 1 wt.% gold by photoreduction method which is carried out for 2 hours in the pyrex photoreactor. The pyrex photoreactor has quartz batch reactor which is provided to the light in medium pressure at 125 W of mercury visible lamp.
