NOVELTY - 2-mercaptobenzothiazole modified graphene oxide (I) comprises 5-20 pts. wt. matrix resin, 30-70 pts. wt. flatting agent, 0.5-1.0 pts. wt. de-foaming agent, 0.5-1.0 dispersant, 0.5-1.0 pts. wt. auxiliary agent, and 20-35pts. wt. diluent. USE - 2-mercaptobenzothiazole modified graphene oxide used for anti-corrosive coating (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The 2-mercaptobenzothiazole modified graphene oxide has improved dispersibility, mechanical effect and corrosion resistance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - 2-mercaptobenzothiazole modified graphene of formula (I).. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing 2-mercaptobenzothiazole modified graphene oxide, which involves: (A) taking amount of graphene oxide, cyanuric chloride, sodium bicarbonate in the flask having mass ratio of 1-30g:1-8mol:1-20mol, and 100-2000ml N, N-dimethyl, mixing and stirring at 50 degrees C for 10-24 hours, cooling and filtering to obtain a precipitate; (B) mixing the obtained precipitate with 1,2-mercaptobenzothiazole, potassium hydroxide in mass ratio of 1-30 g:1-8mol in the flask, and adding 100-2000 ml acetone to disperse, as reaction is carried out for 6-10 hours, cooling and filtering to obtain filtrate; and (C) mixing rest components into obtained filtrate for 1-4 hour and filtering to obtain desired product.
