NOVELTY - Metal matrix composite substrate comprises metal composite material and filler dispersed in the metal composite material, where the filler is oriented in one direction by application of a magnetic field of 0.4 T. The filler is selected from carbon-based, oxide-based, nitride-based and the mixing volume ratio of the metal composite material and the filler is 9:1-5:5. USE - Metal matrix composite substrate used as base metal composite heat dissipation substrate. ADVANTAGE - The metal matrix composite substrate utilizes the high thermal conductivity, low coefficient of thermal expansion, light weight, and durability of a filler made of a carbon-based material, adjusts the crystal orientation according to the magnetic field application direction and controls thermal conductivity of the heat dissipation substrate independently of the shape of the substrate. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing a metal matrix composite substrate, which involves: (A) dispersing the filler in the metal composite material; (B) applying the metal composite material in which the filler is dispersed; (C) orienting the filler in one direction by applying a magnetic field of 0.4 T to the applied metal composite material; and (D) curing the metal composite material including the filler oriented in the one direction.
