NOVELTY - Graphene/titanium dioxide cathode material of lithium battery comprises graphene and titanium dioxide in a weight ratio of 1:15-10:1. The titanium source is titanium tetrachloride and titanium tetrafluoride and graphene and titanium dioxide are prepared by in-situ method. USE - The graphene/titanium dioxide composite material is useful for lithium battery. ADVANTAGE - The method is simple, cost effective and suitable for industrialized production. The graphene/titanium dioxide composite material has high specific capacity and circulated stability and is an ideal cathode material of the lithium battery. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for the preparation of graphene/titanium dioxide cathode material of lithium battery, comprising: oxidizing graphite into oxidized graphite using concentrated sulfuric acid and potassium permanganate, stripping the oxidized graphite into oxidized graphene, mixing the obtained oxidized graphene with the titanium source in different ratios, blending uniformly, preparing the oxidized graphene/titanium dioxide composite material by liquid-phase reaction and reducing the oxidized graphene/titanium dioxide composite material into graphene/titanium dioxide composite material using a reducing agent.
