▎ 摘 要

NOVELTY - Modular communications system (100) comprises an apparel item (120) comprising a surface. A foam layer positioned within it. A set of landing pads positioned proximate to the surface, each landing pad of the multiple landing pads uniquely positioned on the surface relative to other landing pads of the multiple landing pads. A set of non-metallic antenna elements (140a, 140b, 140c, 140d), each demountably, intermittingly, and conductively coupled to a unique landing pad of the multiple landing pads, and comprising a non-metallic conductive composition. A set of communications devices, wherein each communications device is demountably affixed to the surface, intermittingly, demountably, and conductively coupled to the hub (130). An input/output (I/O) device (114a, 114b) positioned proximate to the surface. USE - Modular communications system i.e. Hand-held (i.e. portable) communications systems, such as walkie-talkies and other portable radio transceiver, are typically used by military personnel, law enforcement officials, first responders, as well as civilians with dynamically positionable antenna elements, such as whip antennas. ADVANTAGE - The system achieves an omnidirectional radiofrequency (RF) radiation pattern when utilizing the multiple antenna elements and an altered RF radiation pattern when utilizing a subset of the multiple antenna elements. The communications devices, each operate on unique radio frequency range. The communications devices may be configured to operate on the Very high frequency (VHF) (i.e. 30-300 megahertz (MHz)) and Ultrahigh frequency (UHF) (i.e. 300 MHz to 3 gigahertz (GHz)) radio frequency bands, respectively, and thus allow modular communications system to exhibit multi-band/broadband functionality. The communications system utilizes multiple communications devices simultaneously to thus facilitate communication via multiple RF frequencies. The mechanical characteristics of the material, such as cut resistance, waterproofing, fire resistance, chemical resistance, optical reflectivity, or a combination allows the modular communications system to perform in challenging environments where exposure to extreme temperatures, fire/flash/thermal exposure, chemical spills, and/or wet/water-logged environments is common. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Modular communications system comprises an apparel item comprising a surface. A foam layer positioned in it. A set of landing pads positioned proximate to the surface, each landing pad of the multiple landing pads uniquely positioned on the surface relative to other landing pads of the multiple landing pads. A set of non-metallic antenna elements each demountably, intermittingly, and conductively coupled to a unique landing pad of the multiple landing pads, comprising a non-metallic conductive composition, comprising a unique operational frequency compared to at least one antenna element of multiple antenna elements. A hub positioned on the surface and conductively coupled to each of the landing pads. A set of communications devices, where each communications device is demountably affixed to the surface intermittingly, demountably, and conductively coupled to the hub, comprises an operational frequency, where the hub intermittingly, demountably, and conductively couples each of the communications devices to one of the landing pads, and where the foam layer is lined with a conductive material reflects radio frequency (RF) radiation that emanates from the multiple non-metallic antenna elements, where the modular communications system achieves an omnidirectional RF radiation pattern when utilizing multiple antenna elements. The modular communications system achieves an altered RF radiation pattern when utilizing a subset of the multiple antenna elements. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a schematic view of a block diagram of a modular communications system. 100Modular communications system 114a, 114bInput/output (I/O) device 120Apparel item 130Hub 140a, 140b, 140c, 140dNon-metallic antenna elements
