NOVELTY - Production of porous material involves heating citric acid, adding sodium hydroxide solution, dialyzing, filtering, dialyzing filtrate, freeze-drying to obtain brown-yellow graphene quantum dot (GQD) powder, dissolving powder in dimethylformamide solution, adding solution of thionyl chloride to obtain chlorinated GQD, centrifuging, washing, heating, centrifuging, lyophilizing to obtain GQD-functionalized monomer, adding deionized water, polyvinyl alcohol and hydroquinone to obtain dispersed phase, stirring, heating, filtering, polymerizing, washing and drying. USE - Production of porous material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables simple production of porous material with high mechanical strength. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Production of porous material involves heating citric acid at 200 degrees C, adding sodium hydroxide solution, stirring, dialyzing solution in dialysis bag, filtering, dialyzing filtrate, freeze-drying to obtain brown-yellow graphene quantum dot (GQD) powder, dissolving powder in dimethylformamide solution, adding solution of thionyl chloride, stirring to obtain chlorinated GQD, centrifuging, washing with anhydrous tetrahydrofuran, freeze-drying, heating, centrifuging, washing with absolute ethanol, lyophilizing to obtain GQD-functionalized monomer, adding deionized water, polyvinyl alcohol and hydroquinone, mixing to obtain dispersed phase, stirring, heating, filtering, polymerizing, washing with deionized water and ethanol and drying under vacuum conditions.
