NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene-reinforced composite material involves polishing a substrate to remove the residual material on substrate surface, spraying graphene composite wires on surface of the substrate, and forming an iron-based graphene-reinforced composite coating on the substrate. The graphene composite wires comprise a tubular wrapping material and a filler powder filled in the wrapping material. The filler powder contains mixture of iron-based graphene powder, ceramic particles, boron, chromium, nickel, refractory metal and nano alumina powder. USE - Preparation of graphene-reinforced composite material (claimed). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of graphene-reinforced composite material involves polishing a substrate to remove the residual material on substrate surface, such that improve bonding strength between the substrate and the coating layer, spraying graphene composite wires on surface of the substrate using a thermal spray gun, and forming an iron-based graphene-reinforced composite coating as thermal spray working layer on the surface of the substrate. The graphene composite wires comprise a tubular wrapping material and a filler powder filled in the wrapping material. The tubular wrapping material is low-carbon steel or low-alloy steel. The filler powder contains mixture of iron-based graphene powder, ceramic particles, boron, chromium, nickel, refractory metal and nano alumina powder in weight ratio of 40-85:1-10:2.6-5:2-20:1-4:1-5:5-20. The mass ratio of iron and carbon in the iron-based graphene powder is 40-80:1.6-2.5.
