NOVELTY - Lubricating oil comprises 200-400 pts. wt. base oil, 4-10 pts. wt. detergent, 1-5 pts. wt. functionalized graphene, 2-6 pts. wt. dispersant, 2-6 pts. wt. rust inhibitor and 0.1-0.5 pts. wt. defoaming agent. USE - Used as lubricating oil. ADVANTAGE - The oil saves energy, has long service life; and is environmentally friendly and economical. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing lubricating oil, comprising ultrasonically dispersing the graphene in an aqueous solution of ethanol of 5-15 times the weight of graphene for 15-25 minutes to obtain a dispersion, where the mass fraction of ethanol in the aqueous ethanol solution is 50-60%, adjusting the pH of the dispersion to 2.9-3.3 with 0.05-0.15 mol/l hydrochloric acid, adding 5-15 wt.% triacetoxy(3-mercaptopropyl)silane by weight of the graphene, stirring at 65-75 degrees C for 2-5 hours, centrifuging, drying the precipitate at 65-75 degrees C for 8-12 hours to obtain a surface-treated graphene, mixing the surface-treated graphene, the antioxidant GM and the toluene in a mass ratio of 1:(0.08-0.2):(5-15), ultrasonically dispersing for 15-25 minutes, reheating to 75-85 degrees C, adding 0.1-0.3 wt.% surface treated graphene and N,N-dimethylbenzylamine, stirring for 1-3 hours, centrifuging and drying the precipitate at 65-75 degrees C for 8-12 hours.
