NOVELTY - Manufacture of graphene oxide-carbon paper gas catalytic electrode involves ultrasonically-dispersing graphene oxide in phosphate buffer solution into a suspended state, adjusting pH to 5-9 to obtain electrolytic solution, performing electrophoretic-electrolysis in assembled electrophoretic-electrolytic cell including carbon paper as a positive electrode, a platinum electrode as a negative electrode, and the electrolytic solution, stirring, depositing graphene oxide on the carbon paper, washing graphene oxide-supported carbon paper with double distilled water, and vacuum-drying. USE - Manufacture of graphene oxide-carbon paper gas catalytic electrode used for lithium-air battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables simple and easy manufacture of graphene oxide-carbon paper gas catalytic electrode with excellent cycle characteristics, reproducible electrode performance at 0.1 mA/cm2, initial discharge capacity of 11553 mAh/g, and stable performance for 520 hours. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Manufacture of graphene oxide-carbon paper gas catalytic electrode involves ultrasonically-dispersing graphene oxide in phosphate buffer solution into a suspended state, adjusting pH to 5-9 to obtain electrolytic solution, performing electrophoretic-electrolysis in assembled electrophoretic-electrolytic cell including carbon paper as a positive electrode, a platinum electrode as a negative electrode, and the electrolytic solution at 20-50 degrees C under direct current power supply of 5-20 V for 5-30 minutes, stirring at rate of 1000-4000 rpm, depositing graphene oxide on the carbon paper, washing graphene oxide-supported carbon paper with double distilled water, and vacuum-drying at 80-120 degrees C.
