▎ 摘 要

NOVELTY - Nano graphene-enhanced particulate, where: the particulate is formed of a single or of many graphene sheets and many fine cathode active material particles with a size smaller than 10 mu m; the graphene sheets and the particles are mutually bonded or agglomerated into the particulate with a graphene sheet embracing the cathode active material particles; the particulate has an electrical conductivity not less than 10-4 S/cm and the graphene is present in 0.01-30 wt.% based on total weight of graphene and cathode active material combined, is claimed. USE - The nano graphene-enhanced particulate is useful as a lithium battery cathode active material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The nano graphene-enhanced particulate exhibits high thermal conductivity and electrical conductivity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) preparing a particulate comprising: preparing a precursor mixture of graphene or graphene precursor with a cathode active material or active material precursor; and thermally and/or chemically converting the precursor mixture to the graphene-enhanced cathode particulate; (2) a lithium battery cathode comprising multiple nano graphene-enhanced cathode particulates, where the multiple particulates are packed together with graphene sheets forming a three-dimensional electron-conducting pathway; and (3) a lithium battery comprising an anode, a cathode, a separator disposed between the anode and the cathode, and electrolyte in physical contact with both the anode and the cathode.
