NOVELTY - Preparing antibacterial polyvinyl alcohol fiber composition comprises (1) preparing mixed solution A from tea polyphenols, silver nitrate and lithium chloride, where the mass concentration of silver nitrate is 0.5-3%, tea polyphenols is 2.5-4.0% and lithium chloride is 0.1-0.5%, (2) dissolving polyvinyl alcohol in the mixed solution A to obtain the mixed solution B and stirring at 80-100 degrees C for 3-5 hours, where weight ratio of polyvinyl alcohol to the mixed solution A is 5-15 :100 and (3) adding graphene to mixed solution B and dispersing uniformly and allowing to stand and (4) spinning the mixed solution obtained in step (3) and irradiating under ultraviolet light to obtain antibacterial polyvinyl alcohol fiber composition. USE - The fabric is useful for medical protective products e.g. masks, protective clothing and protective caps (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The fabric has better antibacterial performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) an antibacterial polyvinyl alcohol fiber composition; and (2) a non-woven fabric prepared by antibacterial polyvinyl alcohol fiber composition.
