▎ 摘 要

NOVELTY - The process involves depositing graphene ink onto surface of substrate to provide sensing layer. The sensing layer is processed by photonic curing to generate a graphene electrode comprising vertically aligned graphene sheets. A portion of the sensing layer is functionalised by suspending linker in a solution and spray coating same onto the sensing layer. The portion of the sensing layer is optionally coated with anchor substance having a binding affinity for a capture reagent. The sensing layer of portions are coated with capture reagent that bind linker and anchor substance to provide a sensor with a sensing layer comprising immobilized capture reagent on the surface. USE - Process for manufacture of graphene sensor for detecting target molecule in sample. ADVANTAGE - The intermediary conducting layer improves lateral conductivity of the sensor by providing a conductive base of the graphene sheets with the substrate and has also been found to provide increased stability to the sensor, in particular the vertically aligned graphene sheets of sensing/surface layer, which is important for long term stability of the sensor and the ability to photonically cure the sensing layer. The higher temperature processing afforded by photonic curing reduces the processing time exponentially, often from minutes down to milliseconds, which increases throughput while maintaining a small machine footprint. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) a sensor for detecting biological molecules; and (2) a method for taking biological measurement. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a schematic view of the sensor.
