NOVELTY - Preparation of cathode material, involves adding styrene monomer, lithium salt, ferrous salt, phosphate, emulsifier and water to four-neck round-bottomed flask, stirring magnetically, purging with nitrogen, reacting, mixing reaction mixture with potassium persulfate, polymerizing, precipitating with ethanol, filtering, washing filtrate, drying to obtain styrene microspheres, mixing styrene microspheres, graphene and alkali metal phosphate, stirring, adding tetraethyl orthosilicate to stirred mixture, reacting, centrifuging, washing obtained product, drying and sintering. USE - Preparation of cathode material for lithium ion battery. ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of cathode material with excellent conductivity, cycle performance and tap density. The method is simple, efficient, safe and economical. The cathode material has prolonged service life. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of cathode material, involves adding 3-5 pts. wt. styrene monomer, 8-15 pts. wt. lithium salt, 5-10 pts. wt. ferrous salt, 1-3 pts. wt. phosphate, 0.5-1 pt. wt. emulsifier and 100 pts. wt. deionized water to four-neck round-bottomed flask equipped with condenser and nitrogen tube, stirring magnetically, purging with nitrogen for 10-15 minutes, reacting at 70-90 degrees C, adding 0.05-0.1 pt. wt. potassium persulfate to obtained reaction mixture, polymerizing for 10-15 hours, precipitating with ethanol, filtering, washing filtrate, drying to obtain styrene microspheres, mixing 5-12 pts. wt. styrene microspheres, 1-5 pts. wt. graphene, 0.5-1 pt. wt. alkali metal phosphate and 100 pts. wt. deionized water, stirring at 30-40 degrees C for 1-3 hours, adding 0.5-1 pt. wt. tetraethyl orthosilicate to stirred mixture, reacting for 5-10 hours, centrifuging, washing obtained product, drying and sintering under inert atmosphere.
