NOVELTY - Method of preparing lithium iron phosphate material using mixed iron source and mixed phosphorus source as raw material involves (i) adding iron source, phosphorus source and lithium source to dispersant, adding carbon source and additive to dispersant, and ball milling to obtain slurry, where the iron source comprises iron phosphate and iron oxide, the phosphorus source is provided by lithium phosphate, lithium phosphate, and optionally phosphate ammonium phosphate ammonium phosphate, and the lithium source is lithium phosphate, (ii) spray-drying the slurry to give a lithium iron phosphate precursor, and (iii) sintering the lithium iron phosphate precursor under an inert atmosphere, and crushing to obtain lithium iron phosphate material. USE - The method is useful for preparing lithium iron phosphate material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The lithium iron phosphate material has high compaction density and huge manufacturing cost advantage, and improves the discharge ratio capacity.
