NOVELTY - Magnetic graphene oxide adsorbent by reduction of thiourea dioxide comprises graphite alkenyl oxide body, base body is loaded with magnetic ferrite nano particle. USE - The adsorbent is useful for removing the antibiotic (tetracycline) waste water (claimed), and used for medical field. ADVANTAGE - The adsorbent has strong solid-liquid separating ability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing magnetic graphene oxide adsorbent by reduction of thiourea dioxide comprising (i) synthesizing from natural flake graphite powder using improved Hummers method, taking the graphite powder, potassium persulfate and phosphorus pentoxide to 50-300 ml concentrated sulfuric acid at 50-100 degrees C for 3-9 hours, to pre-oxidize the graphite powder, where the mass ratio of potassium persulfate and phosphorus pentoxide is 1:(0.5-2): (0.5-2), the concentration of the concentrated sulfuric acid is 90-98%, cooling to room temperature, adding 800-1200 ml super-pure water, placing for 7-12 hours, washing and drying the product to obtain oxidized graphite at 40-80 degrees C until it is neutral, (ii) oxidizing graphite is adding to 100-300 ml concentration for sulfuric acid, adding potassium permanganate and sodium nitrate and preoxidation of graphite oxide, where the concentration of the concentrated sulfuric acid is 90-98%, the oxidized graphite, and sodium nitrate to potassium permanganate of mass ratio is 1:(0.5-3):(5-40), at 6 degrees C for 2-7 hours, raising the temperature to 30-40 degrees C for 1-4 hours, adding 300-900 ml ultra-pure water, reacting at 80-100 degrees C for 1-7 hours, adding 800-1200 ml super-pure water and 20-60 ml hydrogen peroxide of concentration is 20-30%, continuously reacting for 1-7 hours, obtaining mixture with super-pure water repeatedly washing until it is neutral, drying at 30-60 degrees C, ultrasonically dispersing for 1-5 hours to obtain the concentration of 1-10 mg/l oxidized grapheme aqueous solution, (iii) dissolving the mol ratio of (1-5):1 of Iron chloride hexahydrate and Iron sulfate heptahydrate in 50-100 ml ultra-pure water at, adding the iron ion and ferrous ion mixed solution, adding the graphene oxide solution, mixing liquid at temperature of 20-100 degrees C in a water bath, quickly stirring for 1-4 minutes, quickly adding 300-600 ml sodium hydroxide solution to adjust the pH to 9-11, continuously stirring the mixture for 50-10 minutes, cooling the obtained, separating the precipitate and washing, to obtain magnetic oxide graphene suspension with concentration of 2-10 mg/l, and (iv) adding 100-300 ml ethanol and 5-20 g sodium hydroxide magnet oxidized graphene into 50-200 ml magnetic oxide graphene suspension, adding super-pure water constant volume to 200-1000 ml, reacting for 5-20 minutes, adding 5-30 g thiourea dioxide, the mixture at 50-100 degrees C for -12 hours, separating the precipitate and washing until the pH is neutral, to obtain the adsorbent.
