NOVELTY - A hydroxy-terminated sodium bisulfite/graphene composite modified asphalt, comprises linear end hydroxylated sodium bisulfite and graphene. USE - Hydroxy-terminated sodium bisulfite/graphene composite modified asphalt. ADVANTAGE - The composite modified asphalt improves the compatibility with the base asphalt, fully reflects the performance of sodium bisulfite, improves the low-temperature ductility and fatigue resistance of the modified asphalt. The graphene has high strength which improve the high-temperature performance of the modified asphalt. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a preparation of modified asphalt, involves (S21) mixing the molten matrix asphalt with a compatibilizer and linear terminal hydroxylated sodium bisulfite to obtain a mixture (A), (S22) shearing the obtained mixture A for the first time, and adding graphene to obtain the mixture (B), (S23) cutting the obtained mixture B for a second time to obtain a mixture (C), (S24) adding a stabilizer to the obtained mixture (C), and performing a third shearing to obtain a mixture (D), (S25) mixing and developing the obtained mixture (D).
