NOVELTY - A graphene-containing flexible PTC thermistor comprises 80-120 pts. wt. polyethylene terephthalate, 60-80 pts. wt. polyethylene, 10-20 pts. wt. epoxy-modified silicone resin, 5-20 pts. wt. graphene, 150-220 pts. wt. organic solvent, 0.3-0.5 pt. wt. coupling agent, 0.1-0.5 pt. wt. flame retardant, 0.1-0.5 pt. wt. antioxidant, 0.1-0.3 pt. wt. lubricant and 0.1-0.3 pt. wt. anti-UV agent. USE - Graphene-containing flexible positive temperature coefficient (PTC) thermistor for use in heaters (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The graphene-containing flexible PTC thermistor has continuous circuit path inside, so that the resistor has fast operating time, high sensitivity and increased security, the heat dissipation of the thermistor is increased, the accumulation of heat is avoided, the impact of inorganic thermally conductive filler on the thermistor performance is reduced and residual pressure is reduced. The thermistor has excellent heat resistance, corrosion resistance and water-proof property. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for method for producing graphene-containing flexible PTC thermistor, which involves (i) dissolving polyethylene terephthalate in an organic solvent, adding graphene dispersion, heat-preserving for 1-3 hours, cooling down, drying and granulating to obtain composite masterbatch, (ii) adding composite masterbatch and polyethylene to an extruder, heating up to 85-95 degrees C, heat-preserving for 3-5 minutes, adding epoxy-modified silicone resin, then adding coupling agent, flame retardant, antioxidant, lubricant and anti-UV agent, mixing evenly to obtain mixed product, (iii) adding the mixed product to a conical twin screw extruder, performing extrusion granulation to obtain preformed masterbatch where in the extruder, the barrel cylinder zone (I) temperature is set to 170-175 degrees C, barrel cylinder zone (II) temperature is set to 175-180 degrees C and barrel cylinder zone (III) temperature is set to 78-173 degrees C, die zone (I) temperature is set to 175-180 degrees C, die zone (II) temperature is set to 180-185 degrees C, die zone (III) temperature is set to 175-180 degrees C, and speed is set to 10 rpm, (iv) and making the preformed masterbatch into metal sheet by hot pressing and obtaining thermistor.
