▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Zinc oxide (ZnO) nano-microsphere/graphene photocatalyst comprises two-dimensional graphene coated with transparent ZnO nano-microsphere comprising hexagonal wurtzite structure of small crystals with diameter of 100-400 nm. USE - ZnO nano-microsphere/graphene photocatalyst used for photocatalytic treatment of industrial pollutants. ADVANTAGE - The ZnO nano-microsphere/graphene photocatalyst has simple and easy preparation, low cost, and high activity, shows good photocatalytic efficiency in the degradation of methylene blue, and is simple to use. By introducing graphene, enhanced adsorption of organic molecules is achieved, thus, broadening the absorption spectrum range. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation ZnO nano-microsphere/graphene photocatalyst comprising preparing ZnO nano-microsphere by adding 0.025 mol zinc acetate and deionized water (H2O) at 1:1-1:2 ratio into 250 ml diethylene glycol, uniformly mixing at 160 degrees C, refluxing for 1-2 hours, centrifuging the reaction product, collecting and drying at 80 degrees C for 12 hours, preparing graphite oxide by modified Hummers method according to J.Am.Chem.Soc., 2008, 130, 5856-5857, uniformly dispersing graphite oxide in deionized water, ultrasonic processing for 0.5-1 hour to obtain 0.5-2 mg/ml graphene oxide aqueous solution, adding ZnO nano-microsphere into graphene oxide aqueous solution, ultrasonic processing for 20-30 minutes to obtain gray ZnO nano-microsphere graphene oxide suspension, subjecting the suspension to vacuum drying treatment to obtain ZnO nano-microsphere graphene oxide solid powder, calcining under reducing atmosphere (hydrogen (H2)-nitrogen (N2) at 1:9 ratio) or H2:argon (Ar) at 1:9 ratio at 500-800 degrees C for 2-3 hours, and obtaining the product, where mass ratio of graphene and ZnO is 1:100-10:100.
