NOVELTY - A separator comprises an intermediate layer and an encapsulation layer located on upper and lower surfaces of the intermediate layer. The separator has ionic insulation. The temperature at which the encapsulation layer begins to soften is at least 10 degrees C lower than the temperature at which the intermediate layer begins to soften. USE - Separator is used for electrochemical device for electronic device (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The separator has excellent reliability of ion insulation and packaging.
