NOVELTY - The method involves washing a waste cathode graphite material in liquor to obtain solid after washing liquid. The liquor is extracted from a reactor bottom by washing liquid. Solid-liquid separation is performed to obtain the solid and liquid. The solid is dried to obtain a spare solid. A pH value of the obtained liquid is adjusted, where pH value is more than or equal to 7. Soluble carbonate or carbon dioxide is added for generating precipitate to prepare a lithium carbonate product. The obtained solid is passed for stripping process to obtain a graphene product. USE - Waste lithium ion battery cathode material recycling method. ADVANTAGE - The method enables realizing large-scale production in a simple and convenient manner so as to regenerate the graphene product of a lithium carbonate material by a high added value, thus improving waste lithium ion battery cathode material recycling efficiency. The method enables realizing resource utilization of waste lithium ion battery cathode material.
