NOVELTY - Arbitrary shape three-dimensional graphene comprises graphene oxide gel, reduced graphene oxide aerogel, graphene oxide aerogel, reduced graphene oxide aerogel and/or heat-treated graphene aerogel. The three-dimensional graphene system presents simple or complex morphology. The graphene content in three-dimensional graphene is 20-150 mg/cm3. USE - Arbitrary shape three-dimensional graphene used for energy storage and sensing (claimed). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of arbitrary shape three-dimensional graphene comprising concentrating graphene oxide dispersion to 30-150 mg/ml where resulting graphene oxide dispersion has higher viscosity, can be prepared into any simple or complex shape assembly, and has invariant shape to obtain graphene oxide gel, reducing graphene oxide gel by chemical reductant to obtain reduced graphene oxide gel, freeze-drying or supercritical drying to obtain graphene oxide aerogel or reduced graphene oxide aerogel and heat treating graphene oxide aerogel or reduced graphene oxide aerogel at 300-3000 degrees C.
