NOVELTY - Method for preparing graphitic carbon nitride/reduced graphene oxide/zinc sulfide ternary composite photocatalyst, involves dissolving graphene oxide and zinc salt, ultrasonically dispersing, adding sulfur source, stirring, reacting at high temperature, cleaning and drying to obtain reduced graphene oxide/zinc sulfide composite material, dissolving graphitic carbon nitride and reduced graphene oxide/zinc sulfide composite material, stirring and reacting at high temperature. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphitic carbon nitride/reduced graphene oxide/zinc sulfide ternary composite photocatalyst used for preparing photoelectrode (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method improves photo-generated hole oxidation ability, photo-generated electron migration ability and increases the photo-electrochemical reaction active site. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing graphitic carbon nitride/reduced graphene oxide/zinc sulfide photoelectrode, which involves mixing graphitic carbon nitride/reduced graphene oxide/zinc sulfide, binder and solvent, ultrasonically treating, uniformly coating on the surface of pretreated substrate, air-drying, and heating and drying.
