NOVELTY - Preparing amphiphilic graphene quantum dot comprises e.g. (i) placing citric acid in a container, heating and melting until citric acid becomes orange, (ii) adding oleylamine in orange citric acid pyrolysis liquid and reacting, (iii) stop heating, adding water into above reaction and mixing, (iv) adding toluene to resultant mixed solution, shaking and allowing to stand until solution divided into three layers, (v) removing upper layer and lower layer, retaining the middle layer, and (vi) freeze-drying middle layer to final product. USE - The method is useful for preparing amphiphilic graphene quantum dot (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method: has simple preparation method, short reaction time, and is suitable for industrial production. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing amphiphilic graphene quantum dot comprises (i) placing citric acid in a container, heating and melting at 180-250 degrees C until citric acid becomes orange, (ii) adding oleylamine in orange citric acid pyrolysis liquid and reacting at 180-250 degrees C for 3-8 minutes, (iii) stop heating, adding water into above reaction and shaking until completely mixing, (iv) adding toluene to resultant mixed solution, shaking and allowing to stand until the solution divided into three layers, (v) removing upper layer and lower layer, retaining the middle layer, and (vi) freeze-drying middle layer to obtain solid powder i.e. final product.
