NOVELTY - Preparation of a high-efficiency wet-strength agent involves preparing polyaminopolyamide-epichlorohydrin crude product with a solid content of 25%, maintaining the crude product for layering, filtering an upper layer liquid through a filter element with a filter medium to remove excess organic chlorine and other low-molecular-weight impurities in the upper layer liquid to obtain a dechlorination filtrate, dripping a pH regulator to the dechlorination filtrate, adjusting pH to 2-4, adding composite antioxidant which is 1-3% of the total weight and defoamer which is 1-3% of the total weight, shaking at room temperature for 40-60 minutes, maintaining for 60 minutes, filtering, recovering the filtrate and mixing with the lower layer precipitate to obtain a polyaminopolyamide-epichlorohydrin fine product, adding the remaining portions of the dechlorination agent to the fine product, adding deionized water to dilute it into an emulsion, and stirring for 10-15 minutes. USE - Preparation of high-efficiency wet-strength agent used for paper. ADVANTAGE - The method is simple, convenient and fast, and produces high-efficiency wet-strength agent by consuming the residual epichlorohydrin in the polyamide epoxy resin by adding the dechlorination agent twice and filtering twice, thus achieving extremely low organic chlorine content in the final wet strength agent and reaching relevant quality standards.
