NOVELTY - Preparing 2,4-dichloro-5-isopropoxyaniline involves using 2,4-dichloro-5-propoxynitrobenzene as a raw material, and loading graphene with precious metal, and then carrying out reaction in presence of a catalyst, reaction solvent i.e. water and a phase transfer catalyst i.e. crown ether at 1.5-3 MPa and 100-130 degrees C for 2-6 hours. The catalyst is recovered by pressure filtration. The reaction temperature is lowered to room temperature, and then centrifuged to obtain 2 ,4-dichloro-5-isopropoxyaniline. The crown ether is selected from 12-crown-4, 15-crown-5 or 18-crown-6. The molar ratio of phase transfer catalyst to starting material is 0.005-0.03:1. USE - Method for preparing 2,4-dichloro-5-isopropoxyaniline (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare 2,4-dichloro-5-isopropoxyaniline more than 99.5% chromatographic purity, more than 95% yield improved quality in a simple and rapid manner, and significantly reduce amount of waste residue and waste water.
