NOVELTY - Preparation of lithium metal cathode involves providing a carbon material layer on the surface a metal lithium sheet, and processing the metal lithium sheet loaded with carbon material into lithium metal cathode. USE - Preparation of lithium metal cathode used in lithium metal battery (all claimed) for 3C digital and power energy applications. ADVANTAGE - The method can effectively inhibit the lithium dendritic crystal, the operation is simple, and the cost is low. The lithium metal cathode has low cost, simple operation, environment-friendly, strong controllability and has strong commercial application potential. The diaphragm has good wide temperature characteristics, so the whole battery system has good high temperature performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: 1. a lithium metal battery, which comprises the lithium metal cathode, a separator, an electrolyte and an anode; and 2. method for suppressing lithium dendrites on the surface of the lithium metal cathode.
