NOVELTY - Pesticide complex comprises 13.3-50 %mass graphene oxide-copper selenide complex, 13.3-50 %mass chlorpyrifos and 25-60 %mass poly(styrene-maleic anhydride) (pSMA). USE - As pesticide complex. ADVANTAGE - The pesticide complex is degradable and environmentally-friendly, since the semiconductor of the pesticide is excited by natural light to excite electrons which generate hydroxy radicals to degrade residual chlorpyrifos, has sustained-release effect, does not runoff by wind and rain erosion due to the adsorption and penetration of the flaky graphene oxide on the surface of the crop and promotes growth and increases added value of the crop. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for method for preparing pesticide complex, which involves (a) dissolving the graphene oxide-copper selenide complex and chlorpyrifos in chloroform, mixing and uniformly stirring the mixture and (b) mixing the mixture obtained in the step (a) with an aqueous solution of PSMA, stirring the mixture and centrifuging to obtain the pesticide complex.
