NOVELTY - Preparation of large piece of debris-free graphene oxide involves obtaining graphite oxide sheets reaction liquid by diluting in modified-hummer method, filtering reaction liquid to 140 mesh screen, mixing the filtrate product with ice water, standing for 2 hours, adding hydrogen peroxide dropwise, adding concentrated hydrochloric acid dropwise into mixture until the disappearance of flocculant graphite oxide, filtering in 140 mesh screen to obtain graphite oxide wafer, shaking the graphite oxide wafer at 20-80 rpm, washing and peeling the graphite oxide wafer. USE - Preparation of large piece of debris-free graphene oxide (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method produces large piece of debris-free graphene oxide easily with safe and controllable manner, with less energy consumption. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of large piece of debris-free graphene oxide involves obtaining graphite oxide sheets reaction liquid by diluting in modified-hummer method, filtering reaction liquid to 140 mesh screen, mixing the filtrate product with ice water, standing for 2 hours, adding hydrogen peroxide dropwise, adding concentrated hydrochloric acid dropwise into mixture until the disappearance of flocculant graphite oxide, filtering in 140 mesh screen to obtain graphite oxide wafer, shaking the graphite oxide wafer at 20-80 rpm, washing and peeling the graphite oxide wafer. The filtrate product and ice water has a volume ratio of 1:10. The hydrogen peroxide has a mass fraction of 30% and is added until the mixture does not change color and mixture of potassium permanganate is completely removed. The hydrochloric acid has a concentration of 12 mol/L.
