NOVELTY - Preparation of palladium (Pd)/graphene nanoelectronic catalyst involves adding sulfuric acid (H2SO4) to sodium nitrate and graphite in an ice bath, adding potassium permanganate (KMnO4) and distilled water, stirring, adding distilled water, adding hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), filtering, washing and dispersing; dispersing in sodium chloride (NaCl), adding poly(diallyldimethylammonium chloride), centrifuging and vacuum-drying; and dispersing, adding hydrochloropalladic acid (H2PdCl6), stirring, adding sodium borohydride (NaBH), centrifuging with distilled water and vacuum-drying. USE - Method for preparing Pd/graphene nanoelectronic catalyst (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The catalyst has high catalytic activity and carbon monoxide toxicity resistance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of palladium (Pd)/graphene nanoelectronic catalyst comprises: (A) adding 46 ml 98% sulfuric acid (H2SO4) to 1 g sodium nitrate and 1 g graphite in an ice bath, stirring for 20 minutes, adding 6 g potassium permanganate (KMnO4) and 80 ml distilled water for 2 times, controlling temperature at 90 degrees C, stirring for 25 minutes, adding 200 ml distilled water, adding 6 ml 30 wt.% hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), hot filtering, washing twice with distilled water until neutral and ultrasonically dispersing in 300 ml distilled water for 1.5 hours to obtain uniform dispersion of single graphene; (B) ultrasonically dispersing in 21 mg in 50 ml 1M sodium chloride (NaCl) for 0.8 hours, adding 80 mg poly(diallyldimethylammonium chloride), sonicating for 2 hours, centrifuging twice with distilled water, where speed is 8100-11000 revolutions/minute and centrifugation time is 3.5-5.5 minutes and vacuum-drying at 40 degrees C for 48 hours to obtain poly(diallyldimethylammonium chloride) functionalized graphene; and (C) ultrasonically dispersing 10.8 mg in 30 ml distilled water for 35 minutes, adding 10.8-91.8 mg hydrochloropalladic acid (H2PdCl6), stirring for 35 minutes, adding 0.05M sodium borohydride (NaBH), where stirring speed is 200-350 revolutions/minute and stirring time is 2.5 hours, centrifuging twice with distilled water and vacuum-drying at 40 degrees C for 48 hours.
