NOVELTY - Livestock manure is selected, dried to constant weight, pulverized or maintained still, placed in high-temperature vessel, heated in protection atmosphere, carbonized and cooled. The carbonized material is removed and ground to fine powder. The fine powder is activated using alkali activator, completely mixed, activated and cooled. The obtained mixed powder is removed, washed with dilute hydrochloric acid to remove alkali, washed with deionized water to neutral and dried, to obtain three-dimensional porous graphene-carbon electrode material. USE - Usage of livestock manure for three-dimensional porous graphene-carbon electrode material for energy storage device e.g. lithium-ion battery and supercapacitor (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method provides three-dimensional porous graphene-carbon electrode material having excellent charging and discharging characteristics and stability and high energy density by simple and economical method. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Livestock manure is selected, dried to constant weight, pulverized or maintained still, placed in high-temperature vessel, heated in protection atmosphere, carbonized at 550-1100 degrees C for 1-3 hours and cooled to room temperature. The carbonized material is removed and ground to fine powder. The fine powder is activated using alkali activator such that the mass ratio of fine powder and alkali activator is 0.1-4:1, completely mixed, activated at 500-700 degrees C for 1 hour in protection atmosphere and cooled to room temperature. The obtained mixed powder is removed, washed with dilute hydrochloric acid to remove alkali, washed with deionized water to neutral and dried, to obtain three-dimensional porous graphene-carbon electrode material.
