NOVELTY - Use of functional plastic for catalytic degradation of gas-liquid phase substance, is claimed. The functional plastic comprises carbon nitride and its composite, and thermoplastic in a mass ratio of (0.01-5):100, and is prepared by mixing carbon nitride and its composite with thermoplastic through heating and melting. USE - Use of functional plastic for producing plastic articles by plastic processing including injection molding, blow molding, suction molding, and extrusion molding for catalytic degradation of gas phase substance ethylene and liquid phase substance rhodamine B (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The functional plastic has excellent catalytic degradation effect on gas-liquid phase substances under light conditions, and uses carbon nitride and its composite, which is inorganic non-metallic material without metal pollution, and can be prepared by a simple and economical method.
