NOVELTY - Preparing activated sludge-graphene oxide composite material comprises (a) obtaining activated sludge, grinding and centrifuging for use, (b) dissolving the embedding agent in deionized water to obtain an embedding agent solution having a concentration of 20 g/l, (c) adding graphene oxide powder to the embedding agent solution to obtain a fixed solution in a ratio of 0.08:1-0.12:1, (d) adding activated sludge having a water content of 90-98 vol.% into fixing solution in a ratio of 0.03:1-0.08:1 to obtain the mixed solution, (e) adding mixed solution to 10-30 g/l calcium chloride solution in a ratio of 1:1-2:1, mixing, allowing to stand at 4 degrees C for 6 hours for molding, drying the activated sludge-graphene oxide composite by lyophilization. USE - The composite material is useful in adsorbing uranium ions. (Claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite material: completely utilizes the adsorption characteristics of activated sludge and graphene oxide. The method: can produce a novel activated sludge-graphene oxide composite adsorbent by using graphene oxide as an immobilized carrier material. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for the use method of activated sludge-graphene oxide composite material for adsorbing uranium ions comprising placing uranium solution in a container, adjusting the pH to 2-7 by using aqueous hydrochloric acid and sodium hydroxide, adding 0.01-0.05 g/l activated sludge-graphene oxide composite and placing in a shaker for shaking for more than 60 minutes.
