NOVELTY - Preparation of nano molybdenum disulfide and graphene composite involves adding molybdenum disulfide powder, graphite powder and salt to an aqueous solvent or an organic solvent to obtain mixed solution, ultrasonically processing the mixed solution, removing unpeeled molybdenum disulfide powder and graphite powder by centrifugation, collecting suspension to obtain nano molybdenum disulfide and graphene composite suspension, and removing salt particles remaining in the composite suspension by centrifugal washing. USE - Preparation of nano molybdenum disulfide and graphene composite used as catalyst for hydrogen evolution reaction (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables simple, easy, non-toxic and economical preparation of composite. The composite has high yield, excellent quality and stable structure. The catalytic effect of nano molybdenum disulfide and graphene composites for hydrogen evolution reaction is effectively improved compared with pure molybdenum disulfide nanosheets.
