▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Synthesizing graphene-based materials from tire or rubber waste, comprises: (a) segregating and cutting tire or rubber waste to get finely chopped tire or rubber waste followed by washing and drying; (b) mixing the finely chopped tire or rubber waste with transition metal oxides or a bedding of nano clay mixed with the transition metal oxides in a defined ratio to obtain a mixture; (c) subjecting the mixture to slow pyrolysis reaction at a low temperature of 500-600 degrees C under inert atmosphere to get a first pyrolysis product; (d) subjecting the first pyrolysis product to fast pyrolysis reaction at a high temperature of 700-1000 degrees C under inert atmosphere to obtain a second pyrolysis product; and (e) washing the second pyrolysis product with 30% hydrochloric acid and distilled water to get a highly porous 3D graphene nano flakes (3DGNF). USE - The process is useful for synthesizing graphene-based materials from tire or rubber waste. ADVANTAGE - The process includes cheapest waste materials i.e. tire/rubber waste as the raw material, which effectively upcycle it into highly porous 3D graphene nano flakes, which facilitates fabrication of ultracapacitor devices.
