NOVELTY - A low-melting-point instant high-viscosity asphalt modifier comprises 8-15 pts. wt. magnesium aluminum dihydroxy composite metal hydroxide, 12-14 pts. wt. antioxidant, 10-15 pts. wt. heavy aromatic oil, 0.4-2 pts. wt. silane coupling agent such as vinyltriethoxysilane (a151), 40-60 pts. wt. styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) rubber powder, 0.01-0.05 pt. wt. graphene, 20-25 pts. wt. aromatic hydrocarbon extraction oil, 3-10 pts. wt. tetraethyl silicate and 12-21 pts. wt. modifier. USE - Low-melting-point instant high-viscosity asphalt modifier used for pavement of road. ADVANTAGE - The low melting point instant high viscosity asphalt modifier is prepared by simple and easy method, is easy to disperse, operate, use and has excellent stability and weather resistance. The sheet-shaped magnesium-aluminum double-hydroxyl composite metal hydroxide added in the asphalt modifier can improve the anti-aging performance of the asphalt. The graphene can improve anti-high-low-low temperature performance of asphalt. The antioxidant 1010 and antioxidant 168 are cooperated with each other, which can improve oxygen-resistant and aging ability of asphalt. The stone powder improves the mechanical property of asphalt, and improves the oxygen-resistance of asphalt. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of the low-melting-point instant high-viscosity asphalt modifier, which involves (a) dispersing graphene into a dispersion medium to prepare a graphene dispersion, (b) adding oxidizing agent and magnesium-aluminum hydroxy composite metal hydroxide to the graphene dispersion, mechanically-stirring to obtain a paste, (c) adding the paste and modifier into a mixer through double-cone feeding device for mixing, granulating, (d) reacting stone powder and SBS rubber powder with 0.4 pts. wt. silane coupling agent at 80-100 °C, (e) mixing the materials obtained in the steps (c) and (d), adding tetraethyl silicate, raising the temperature to 150-180 °C for reaction, cooling and granulating.
