NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene-ultra-high-molecular weight polyethylene fiber-coated yarn involves using spandex yarn as a core, and coating the core with a graphene-ultra-high-molecular weight polyethylene fiber, and nylon or polyester yarn. USE - Preparation of graphene-ultra-high-molecular weight polyethylene fiber-coated yarn used in glove, cuff, and garment (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method produces cut-resistant coated yarn which provides the dipped rubber glove to meet the European union EN388 standard wear resistance grade 4, cut-proof performance grade 5, tear resistance grade 4, and puncture resistance grade 4, and European union EN407 standard thermal contact resistance grade 2, and American national standards institute (ANSI) cut resistance grade 4, and provides the cuff to meet ANSI cut resistance grade 6. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) preparation of the glove, which involves using slurry comprising at least one of polyurethane, nitrile, natural latex, PVC, and neoprene; and (2) preparation of the cuff.
