▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Material comprises polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA), and poly (vinyl alcohol) (PVA). USE - Material for composition used as topical dressing, absorbent material for prevention of bleeding, postoperative plugs, post-otoplasty auditory tampons, cellular scaffold in tissue engineering, biodegradable suture, as controlled delivery of drugs or biological agents and as biodegradable material, and for treatment and prevention of infections caused by wounds or ulcer (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The material with polymer composition exhibits electrical and antimicrobial properties. The material is biodegradable in which ability to biodegrade is maintained. The hydrophilic films possess adequate properties of thermal degradation, thermal behavior, water absorption and wettability suitable for biomedical and industrial applications among a wide range of areas where non-toxic biodegradable materials are required. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) obtaining the material which involves (i) preparing a solution of PHA, preferably PHBV, in a solvent selected from chloroform, trifluoroethanol, dichloromethane, hexafluoro-2-propanol, acetone, ethanol, methanol, propylene carbonate, dimethylsulfoxide, methylene chloride, toluene, N,N-dimethylformamide and dioxane, (ii) preparing solution of PVA in a solvent selected from 1-methyl-2-pyrrolidone, water, mixture of water and alcohol, dimethylsulfoxide, ethylene glycol-hexylene, ethylene glycol and serum; (iii) mixing PHA solution from step (i) and PVA solution from step (ii); and (iv) crosslinking the mixture with a chemical crosslinking agent or a physical crosslinking agent; (2) composition comprising the material and particles with conductive and antimicrobial properties; and (3) obtaining the composition which involves (i) preparing solution of PHA, preferably PHBV, in a solvent selected from chloroform, trifluoroethanol, dichloromethane, hexafluoro-2-propanol, acetone, ethanol, methanol, propylene carbonate, dimethylsulfoxide, methylene chloride, toluene, N,N-dimethylformamide and dioxane; (ii) dispersing conductive and antimicrobial particles on PVA solution; (iii) preparing solution of PVA in a solvent selected from 1-methyl-2-pyrrolidone, water, a mixture of water and alcohol, dimethylsulfoxide, ethylene glycol-hexylene, ethylene glycol and serum; (iv) mixing the PHA solution with dispersed particles and PVA solution; (iv) crosslinking the mixture with chemical crosslinking agent or physical crosslinking agent.
