▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Method for improving methane production by butyrate degradation using nanocomplex material involves promoting butyrate degradation using nanocomplex material, as electronic carrier and butyrate, as electron donor under anaerobic fermentation culture conditionto improve methane yield, where nanocomplex material is ferroferric oxide/reduced graphene oxide nanocomplex material and has ferroferric oxide content of 22-28 %mass. USE - The method is useful for improving methane production by butyrate degradation. ADVANTAGE - The method facilitates direct interspecies electron transfer between methanogenic bacteria and methanogenic archaea, which does not require hydrogen and formate-mediated electron transfer compared with the traditional intermediate electron transfer, and creates thermodynamically and metabolically favorable conditions within anaerobic microbiome, which promote rapid conversion of butyrate to methane.
