NOVELTY - Producing copper-based self-lubricating composite coating involves subjecting ultrasonic dispersion of carboxylated carbon nanotube and/or graphene polystyrene in an aqueous solution of a composite surfactant to form a dispersion liquid. The dispersion liquid is mixed with copper electroplating solution under ultrasonic condition and then centrifuged to obtain composite electroplating solution. The substrate and counter electrode are placed in composite electroplating solution. USE - Method for producing copper-based self-lubricating composite coating (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables to produce copper-based self-lubricating composite coating, which has excellent lubrication and wear resistance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Producing copper-based self-lubricating composite coating involves subjecting ultrasonic dispersion of carboxylated carbon nanotube and/or graphene polystyrene in an aqueous solution of a composite surfactant to form a dispersion liquid. The dispersion liquid is mixed with copper electroplating solution under ultrasonic condition and then centrifuged to obtain composite electroplating solution. The substrate and counter electrode are placed in composite electroplating solution. The distance between substrate and counter electrode is maintained at 3-6cm, pulse current is applied, and the ultrasonic vibration and mechanical stirring are continuously applied throughout the process to obtain final coating.
