NOVELTY - A photocatalytic reactor for performing photocatalytic reaction of reduced graphene oxide/magnesium hydroxide, comprises preparing graphene oxide by modified Hummers method, preparing reduced graphene oxide/magnesium hydroxide high-efficiency photocatalytic composite material by using chemical precipitation, using graphene oxide, magnesium chloride hexahydrate and sodium hydroxide as starting materials, reducing graphene oxide with a green reducing agent, uniformly dispersing magnesium hydroxide nanosheet on reduced graphene oxide nanosheet, using viscose polyester fiber cotton blend fabric, opening, carding, air laying, carbonizing and activation technology, and pretreating the surface of prepared activated carbon fiber cloth, using the dipping-lifting method, loading the surface of activated carbon fiber cloth carrier with reduced graphene oxide/magnesium hydroxide high-efficiency photocatalytic composite material. USE - Photocatalytic reactor for performing photocatalytic reaction of reduced graphene oxide/magnesium hydroxide. ADVANTAGE - The reactor ensures high value utilization of waste resources and realizes immobilization of the powder form photocatalytic materials. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Photocatalytic reactor for performing photocatalytic reaction of reduced graphene oxide/magnesium hydroxide, comprises activated carbon fiber cloth as carrier. The reduced graphene oxide/magnesium hydroxide high-efficiency photocatalytic composite is supported on the surface of the carrier. The photocatalytic reaction is performed by (1) obtaining graphene oxide by modified Hummers method, (2) preparing reduced graphene oxide/magnesium hydroxide high-efficiency photocatalytic composite material by using chemical precipitation, using graphene oxide, magnesium chloride hexahydrate and sodium hydroxide as starting materials, reducing graphene oxide with a green reducing agent, regulating the content of graphene oxide and the reaction time, uniformly dispersing magnesium hydroxide nanosheet on reduced graphene oxide nanosheet, (3) using viscose polyester fiber cotton blend fabric, opening, carding, air laying, carbonizing and activation technology, and pretreating the surface of prepared activated carbon fiber cloth, (4) using the dipping-lifting method, loading the surface of activated carbon fiber cloth carrier with reduced graphene oxide/magnesium hydroxide high-efficiency photocatalytic composite material.
