NOVELTY - Abrasive wheels comprises a bushing (20) coupled to a rotating shaft of a rotating device, and an abrasive layer (10) formed around the bushing. The abrasive layer comprises an abrasive including diamond powder (maximum diameter of less than or equal to 25 mu m) on a silver long side, and a binder including a high hardness polyurethane-modified epoxy resin for bonding the abrasive. The average particle size of the diamond is 10-15 mu m, when the target value of the surface roughness of the glass processing surface is 0.1-0.03. The average particle size of the diamond is 5-10 mu m, when the target value of the surface roughness of the glass processing surface is 0.07-0.01. The average particle size of the diamond is 3-6 mu m, when the target value of the surface roughness of the glass processing surface is 0.03. USE - The abrasive wheels are useful for processing glass sheet. ADVANTAGE - The abrasive wheel has improved grindability and improved durability while capable of processing high-quality edge surface. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for manufacturing the abrasive wheel, comprising preparing the binder by mixing diamond powder and abrasive having maximum diameter of less than or equal to 25 mu m on the long side, preparing the abrasive layer dough by mixing the diamond powder and the binder, inserting the bushing into a mold, filling and compressing the abrasive layer dough around the bushing, forming the abrasive layer by aging and curing the abrasive layer dough in the mold, separating the finished abrasive wheel from the mold and finishing the abrasive wheel.
