NOVELTY - Cobalt sulfide-graphene-like carbon-nitrogen compound catalyst preparation involves weighing appropriate amount of thiourea, placing in a crucible, and then heating in an air atmosphere at 550 degrees C for 2 hours to form yellow powder. The resulting yellow powder is ground and placed in an uncovered crucible for heating at 500 degrees C for 2 hours, where the light yellow powder is a graphene-like carbon-nitrogen compound. A certain amount of graphene-like carbon-nitrogen compound, cobalt acetate as a cobalt source and thiourea as a sulfur source are added in a 25 ml single-mouth round-bottomed flask, where appropriate amount of water and ethanol is added to disperse ultrasonically for 40 minutes in nitrogen atmosphere. The reaction system is placed under a xenon lamp for light irradiation. USE - Method for preparing cobalt sulfide-graphene-like carbon-nitrogen compound catalyst. ADVANTAGE - The method prepares the cobalt sulfide-graphene-like carbon-nitrogen compound catalyst in a simple, efficient, cost-effective and eco-friendly manner with good industrial application prospect.
