NOVELTY - An electrolyte comprises organic compound containing amide functional group (i) or (ii) as main solvent, co-solvent or additive, ester and/or ether co-solvent, an additive and lithium salt. USE - Electrolyte for lithium/carbon fluoride or lithium/metal fluoride battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The electrolyte is easy to use, and has excellent compatibility with high specific energy carbon fluoride/metal fluoride anode and can effectively improve lithium ion migration rate and discharge energy density of battery and provides battery with excellent high/low temperature discharge performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An electrolyte comprises organic compound containing amide functional group of formula (i) or (ii) as main solvent, co-solvent or additive, ester and/or ether co-solvent, an additive and lithium salt. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: use of electrolyte in high-specific energy lithium/carbon fluoride or lithium/metal fluoride battery. The fluorocarbon ratio of carbon fluoride is 0.1-1.5; and lithium/carbon fluoride or lithium/metal fluoride battery, which comprises carbon fluoride/metal fluoride cathode material, lithium metal cathode, separator, the electrolyte, binder, and conductive agent. The carbon fluoride/metal fluoride cathode material is chosen from carbon fluoride, iron fluoride, nickel fluoride, copper fluoride, cobalt fluoride, zinc fluoride, manganese fluoride and other metal fluoride. The conductive agent is one or more of (RTM: electroconductive carbon black), acetylene black, (RTM: electroconductive carbon black), vapor-generated carbon fibers, carbon nanotubes, graphene, S-O, KS-6, KS-15, SFG-6, and SFG-15 conductive graphite.
