NOVELTY - Epoxy resin comprises graphene/polyphosphazene nanocomposite material, where the nanocomposite material uses two-dimensional graphene nanosheets as core and polyphosphazene coating layer as shell. USE - As epoxy resin. ADVANTAGE - The epoxy resin has excellent flame retardance, ensures 31.4 limiting oxygen index and V0 flame retardant grade, and has increased impact strength. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing the epoxy resin, involving (a) adding hexachlorocyclotriphosphazene, difunctional aromatic amine, graphene n-methylpyrrolidone dispersion and acid binding agent to acetonitrile or acetone, where the concentration of hexachlorocyclotriphosphazene is 0.005-0.1 g/ml, the molar ratio of hexachlorocyclotriphosphazene to aromatic amine is 1:0.5-1:5, the mass ratio of hexachlorocyclotriphosphazene and graphene is 1:0.1-1:10, adding solution to digestion tank, introducing nitrogen to remove oxygen in system, sealing the digestion tank, and reacting at 100-180 degrees C for 3 hours using solvothermal method, filtering, washing and drying to obtain graphene/polyphosphazene nanocomposite, (b) mixing graphene/polyphosphazene nanocomposite with epoxy resin curing agent to obtain composite epoxy resin curing agent, (c) uniformly mixing and stirring epoxy resin, diluent and inorganic filler with composite epoxy curing agent to obtain prepolymer slurry, and (d) injecting obtained prepolymer slurry into mold, heating and curing to obtain the epoxy resin.
