NOVELTY - Preparation of lead-tin/graphene composite coating involves pre-treating a base material by subjecting it to grinding using #600, #1000 and #2000 water-proof abrasive paper, water washing, degreasing using an alkaline solution comprising sodium hydroxide and sodium carbonate and etching using an etching solution comprising hydrofluoric acid and hydrogen peroxide, and immersing the base material into an electrodeposition solution comprising lead fluoroborate, stannous fluoroborate, fluoroboric acid, boric acid, peptone and graphene. USE - Preparation of lead-tin/graphene composite coating for base material of lead-acid storage battery. ADVANTAGE - The coating is mass produced by an environmentally-friendly process with less energy consumption, and provides battery with excellent cycle stability, and cycle life of 367 times at 100% discharge depth.
