NOVELTY - Preparation of a single-grafted polystyrene microspheres dispersed graphene includes preprocessing styrene, adding sodium metal and benzophenone in toluene solution, preparing graphene oxide gel, preparing graphene oxide grafted propylene chloride, preparing acryloyl chloride, dissolving oxide grafted acrylic acid chloride in deionized water, and dissolving the sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate in water, adding styrene monomer, ultrasonic mixing, stirring, reacting, washing, and drying to obtain single-grafted polystyrene microspheres dispersed graphene. USE - Method for preparing a single-grafted polystyrene microspheres dispersed graphene (claimed). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of a single-grafted polystyrene microspheres dispersed graphene comprises: (A) repeatedly washing styrene monomer with 5% sodium hydroxide, and then washing with deionized water until pH close to 7, then removing water for 12 hours, and evaporating under reduced pressure to styrene; (B) adding sodium metal and benzophenone in toluene solution, heating the solution, kept boiling until the solution color changes to dark blue, and carrying out atmospheric distillation to obtain anhydrous toluene; (C) adding potassium nitrate and concentrated sulfuric acid mixture to dry the crystalline flake graphite, ultrasonic mixing in ice water bath, stirring and slowly adding potassium permanganate, raising to 30 degrees C, high speed stirring reaction for 6 hours, then slowly adding distilled water, raising the system temperature to 60 degrees C and reacting for 0.5 hours, and then adding distilled water and hydrogen peroxide to the graphene oxide to obtain mother liquid, centrifugal washing with distilled water to obtain pure graphene oxide, adding sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate, and ultrasonic mixing to obtain graphene oxide gel; (D) adding acrylic acid with thionyl chloride in an ice water bath for 12 hours; (E) dissolving graphene oxide and acrylic acid chloride in dry toluene into the container, and then ultrasonic mixing at 50 degrees C oil bath for 24 hours, centrifuging and washing repeatedly to obtain toluene black product, and then rinsing with ethanol and drying; (F) dissolving oxide grafted acrylic acid chloride in graphite vessel containing deionized water; and (G) dissolving the sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate in water, adding styrene monomer, ultrasonic mixing with nitrogen at 65 degrees C constant temperature oil bath, stirring the reaction mixture at reflux for 30 minutes, dissolving the potassium persulfate in water, adding the mixture to a container, reacting for 3 hours, washing the reaction mixture of ethanol with distilled water, and drying to obtain single-grafted polystyrene microspheres dispersed graphene.
