NOVELTY - Method of adding copper-plated aluminum flakes to improve uniformity of interlayer arrangement of flake graphite aluminum matrix composite materials involves mixing sodium hydroxide, sodium carbonate, sodium phosphate, flake graphite, deionized water in mass ratio of 1:(0.2-0.3):(0.2-0.3):(0.2-0.3):(4-6), heating to 100 degrees C, stirring, washing with distilled water until pH of solution is neutral, drying, immersing flake graphite in concentrated sulfuric acid, warming to 100 degrees C, filtering, drying, feeding flake graphite processed in electroless copper plating solution, washing with distilled water after plating completed until solution pH is neutral, feeding aluminum sheet in alkaline degreasing agent to remove surface impurities, drying to obtain copper-plated aluminum sheet, mixing copper-plated flake graphite, aluminum powder, urea and starch, feeding in mold, heat-preserving, infiltrating molten aluminum into graphite perform, and cooling to room temperature. USE - Method of adding copper-plated aluminum flakes to improve uniformity of interlayer arrangement of flake graphite aluminum matrix composite materials. ADVANTAGE - The method improves mechanical properties of the composite material and extends service life. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Method of adding copper-plated aluminum flakes to improve uniformity of interlayer arrangement of flake graphite aluminum matrix composite materials involves mixing sodium hydroxide, sodium carbonate, sodium phosphate, flake graphite, deionized water in mass ratio of 1:(0.2-0.3):(0.2-0.3):(0.2-0.3):(4-6), heating to 100 degrees C, stirring, washing with distilled water until pH of solution is neutral, drying, immersing flake graphite in concentrated sulfuric acid, warming to 100 degrees C, washing with distilled water until pH of solution is neutral, filtering, drying, feeding flake graphite processed in electroless copper plating solution, washing with distilled water after plating completed until solution pH is neutral, drying to obtain copper-plated flake graphite, feeding aluminum sheet in alkaline degreasing agent to remove surface impurities, washing with distilled water until pH of solution is neutral, drying by suction filtration, feeding aluminum sheet processed in electroless copper plating solution, washing with distilled water after plating is completed until pH of solution is neutral, drying to obtain copper-plated aluminum sheet, mixing copper-plated flake graphite, aluminum powder, urea and starch in mass ratio of 1:(0.05-0.06):(0.4-0.6):(0.03-0.04), feeding in mold, placing more than two copper-plated aluminum sheets, pressing prefabricated graphite flakes, sintering prefabricated graphite flakes, heating initially to 150 degrees C, keeping warm for 20 minutes, increasing temperature by 30 degrees C for 15 minutes, cooling to 330 degrees C, cooling to room temperature to obtain graphite perform, feeding graphite preform in vacuum air pressure infiltration furnace, heat-preserving for 2 hours under conditions of infiltration temperature of 700 degrees C and infiltration pressure of 2.5 MPa, infiltrating molten aluminum into graphite perform, cooling to room temperature to obtain copper-plated graphite/aluminum-based composite material added with copper-plated aluminum sheet.
